The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to clean and refurbish new and used vehicles within the scope of the customer's chosen specifications.

Responsibilities & Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Routine cleaning and cosmetic maintenance, and inspections (Ex: vehicle washing, waxing, buffing, shampooing, drying, paint corrections, etc)
  • Wash, Vacuum, and apply protective coating throughout the vehicles’ interior and exterior
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces
  • Treat spots with stain-resistant chemicals
  • Clean engine bay and engine compartment
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners and advanced cleaning procedures not typically known by consumers
  • Inspects vehicles for issues, such as dents, scratches, torn fabric, and any mechanical issues
  • Restore the appearance of the vehicle to the best of your ability
  • Dress tires and tire wells
  • Completing the project based on the request of the customer
  • Coordinating work with team members
  • Keeps work area neat and clean
  • Use proper safety protection at all times when required
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Reports any safety issues immediately to management
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned
  • Help maintain a healthy and safe working environment for everyone
Qualifications:
  • Class 5 NL Drivers license
  • Ability to work as part of a team, take direction and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Completed relevant post-secondary training
  • Good communication and well organization
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work alone or with a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting and operating equipment
